But the all time rare concert I would have liked to attend was the one and only concert tour ever held by Kate Bush. Apparently she had something like 20 costume changes during the show. Neat.
Queen (with Freddie, of course.) The Beatles. Elvis. Billie Holliday. Hannah Montana (JOKE! Chill out already!) Wagner, Beethoven and Mozart. Pavoratti. Maria Callas. sigh...
I think I would like to have seen Vivaldi. I read one contemporary account of his performance that said he was so focused that his eyes were bleeding when the concert was over. Think what he could have done with an electric guitar.
I turn on Vivaldi or similar every morning while I get my shower to start bringing my daughter out of her sleep before she actually has to be out of bed. Works great.
Well, I have to agree about Queen, it sounds as if their concerts rocked (well, is it really Queen without Freddie???)
Vivaldi. Sigh. i would have a much better appreciation of classical music in general if my father didn't blast --like BLAST-- it every morning, especially on weekends. Or, for that matter, all day long. I like classical, but not in such huge doses.
(Now that I no longer live at home this is not such a big thing, but we were staying with my parents over Thanksgiving. I'm back up to full irritation of classical right now.)
Sorry V. You wouldn't last long at my house then. I discovered classical many years ago about the same time I discovered hard rock and always play them at more or less the same volume! Clearly I'm no classical snob though. I know nothing about classical, different styles and so on, just that some of it makes me want to mount a charger and rush headlong into battle.
pnwgal, I would have liked to have seen them in Shea Stadium just so I could say "I was there", but really, I think it would have annoyed the crap outta me for not being able to hear over all the damn screaming girls!
I need to add another one to my list, btw--The Rat Pack!
Thanks for stopping by! Answer any question you like, however you like. Hopefully we'll learn a little bit about ourselves and a lot about each other. Happy answering!

I hate to admit it, but it would have to be Elvis Presley
Probably Led Zeppelin or the original Pink Floyd.

I would have loved to see the Beatles on Ed Sullivan.
