Characters

If you could become any character of any book/short story/tv show/movie, whom would it be? Why?

Atticus Finch from To Kill A Mockingbird. I admire his strength of character. A gentle man with a sense of humor and a well defined sense of morality and justice.

I could probably name more, but Atticus is definitely the stand out choice.

Of course, there's always Spiderman.

High brow answer:

I'd be Scarlett O'Hara. She and I have a lot in common - spine, smarts, and a love for black-haired gentlemen with mustaches.

Guilty Pleasure answer:

I'd be Beth on "Moonlight" (CBS, Friday, 9:00). Anything that puts me within biting distance of Alex O'Loughlin is just working for me.

Okay. If we're allowed a low brow answer as well... Sam Vimes of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch. But oddly for the same reasons as Atticus Finch. Except Sam's not always so gentle.

Kaylee on Firefly. She's cute as a button, a gadget geek, and a well-written character. I might have said Zoe originally, but after the horrible thing that happened in the movie, I just couldn't bring myself to deal with that.

Or Lady Macbeth. Yeah, I know she's crazy. Yeah, I know she kills herself. Don't care. What a fantastic character!

Off the top of my head...a chef working for Gordon Ramsey in Hell's Kitchen, but not a contestant.
