Just for the record-I hate Thanksgiving. Used to love it as a kid, but when I got to be a grown-up married woman, and had to deal with "WHYYYYYYYYY aren't you coming here this year?" from both mothers, I gave up.
I love Christmas-people seem to be more happy and accepting of their fellow man.
Basically, I like any holiday that keeps me out of work.
Used to love Thanksgiving and Christmas - but Christmas is losing favor. Aside from the debt factor, there's a demand to please everyone that just isn't there during Thanksgiving. And lord help you if you get something that's cheaper than what they give you. With Thanksgiving, it's all about playing with the family. You might have to play a game or two, but they're more of the board/computer/group-type game than the land-mine-filled-political-deathtrap landscape that is Christmas.
Thanks for stopping by! Answer any question you like, however you like. Hopefully we'll learn a little bit about ourselves and a lot about each other. Happy answering!

Thanksgiving
I don't know...Halloween is a big one for the fun factor, but Christmas and Thanksgiving go for a tie on the family getting together factor.
Call it Chrismayulakwaanzuka. That's my favorite. It lasts practically from Black Friday through spring.
Thanksgiving. I love that you don't have to go into crippling debt to enjoy a holiday with the family.

I absolutely love Christmas because it gives me an excuse to spoil my kids. I love the expression on their faces when they wake up Christmas morning.
