This shows how sheltered I've been, but I think my worst job was a two week stint at a Baskin-Robbins. Since I was the new guy, I spent almost the entire time of my limited employment sitting in a freezer making full tubs of ice cream out of partially empty tubs. Cold and sticky work. And they didn't even give me a supply of those little wooden spoons for sampling. I only came out after closing so I could sweep the sidewalks and mop the floors while everyone else went home. At $1.65 an hour. I took a look at my first two week paycheck and hit the door.
I also helped bury a dead mule with a bulldozer once that had been hit by lightning and left out in the sun for a week. It was bloated and exploded when we pushed it in the hole. Yum.
"..and it exploded." Thanks Bill. I no longer need lunch.
Worst job I ever had? Would have to be when I worked for my aunt cleaning office bldgs. This one guy would leave a note EVERY BLOODY DAY complaining that we didn't clean his area well enough. (For $5/hr, he wasn't gonna get my A-game.)
On my last night (it was my aunt's last night, too-she gave up the contract), I emptied the office's shredder bin into the guy's unlocked desk drawers.
My worst job was working at a cardboard factory where handling the cardboard would give you thousands of "paper cuts". Except it was "cardboard cuts" and those were bigger and deeper than your typical cut from a piece of paper. And I was too short for the job so my own uncle had to fire me. bummer.
Nice mule story, Bill. I'll be sure to tell Hadley that story when she gets old enough to ask for a pony.
Wow. Compared to Bill, I've never had a bad job. I've had bad bosses though. The last guy I worked for was a total freaking nutjob. He's beyond crazy, and since he owns the company, there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it.
I also worked night shift at a convenience store for a while. That was a bitch too.
Thanks for stopping by! Answer any question you like, however you like. Hopefully we'll learn a little bit about ourselves and a lot about each other. Happy answering!

Shredded paper has so many uses. That's a good thing.

The worst part is that the horrified fascination of it all kept me unfortunately transfixed to a spot well within the splash zone.
