I'm really enjoying Daniel Craig a lot more than I thought I was going to. Pierce Bronsnan is a favorite just because he's so pretty, and the first Bond I saw in theaters was Roger Moore, but I'd have to say my favorite (after DC) is Sean Connery.
Roger Moore will always be my favorite, but I do adore Daniel Craig. He's just so, I dunno, rugged.
Daniel Craig... if I can say so based on one movie... followed by Sean Connery. I never cared that much for Roger Moore and I could never take Pierce Brosnan as James Bond at all because he was... well.. so pretty.
Also, I'm proud to say I was one who was excited about Daniel Criag as Bond as soon as I saw he got the nod.
Have any of you ever read any of Ian Fleming's books? Daniel Craig's portrayal of Bond is the closest to the book version (Bond was not made of suave--Bond is a borderline sociopath), so that's one reason I really enjoyed Casino Royale (and can't wait for Quantum of Solace--whatever the hell THAT means).
Soo, I'm TOTALLY with you on DC being so rugged--is it just me or is he James Bond channeling Steve McQueen (swoon!)?
Sean Connery because I love him, but Daniel Craig is certainly right up there!
I, also, was excited when I heard Daniel Craig was cast. He lived up to my expectations. I really didn't care for the Bond movies much. Too many gadgets and corny lines. This new series is awesome. I can't wait for the next one. Also, just in case you didn't know, Daniel Craig is signed up for 2 more Bond films after this one. Sweet!
