Gas Prices

How are gas prices affecting you?

Not too much yet. We've started considering which car gets the best mileage rather than which car is parked in back in the driveway and we've started combining errands instead of just running out whenever we think of something. That sort of thing.

We've done that as well. We also bought a hybrid car which rocks. We use that as our primary car now.

Since I sold my car before I moved, we're all about carpooling! But we have limited unnecessary trips as much as possible.

bill....we've?

cj, I'm trying to talk my hubby into a hybrid SUV (part truck part people mover), but he's not buying.

laurie, how's the public transportation out your way?

And to answer my own question, the hubby takes the car that gets the best gas mileage, and I live close enough to work that I can go for two weeks without filling up. We just make sure to pick things up on the way home and combine errands too.

I love my Prius. We get 50 mpg-now that's city and highway combined. I know the SUV hybrids don't get as good but compared to other SUV's in general....

Yeah, I noticed Bill's "we've" also. So casually dropped.

I meant 'we' in the royal sense...

Hmmm....that doesn't make sense either since the royal "we" is only you. And you only have one car, and you live in an apt. complex that doesn't have a driveway. curious.

I meant 'we' in the multiple personality sense?

I'm really not sure about the public transportation here in Escondido. I know there's buses and I know where they load up, but I don't know the routes.
