The Visible Dog. He was made of transparent plastic, and you had to put all of his internal parts inside the plastic--brain, organs, blood vessels, etc. His breed was the Boxer at a time when one of my favorite songs was Simon & Garfunkel's The Boxer, which in my canine-obsessed mind was about a dog and not a pugilist. I never gave a hoot about plastic airplanes or cars, but the Visible Dog? I just loved him, maybe because I wasn't allowed to have a dog of my own.
My Barbies and the various Barbie accessories. I could spend hours dressing and undressing Barbie and styling her hair. I also had one of those head things with the hair you could style. Thinking back now, it was probably kind of creepy sitting with a head on my lap braiding the hair.
I loved my Barbies too. I never had a Ken, and I watched too much Mary Tyler Moore, so they were all business women who lived in an apartment made out of the underside of my desk. My uncle built me a wooden Barbie bed, and I furnished the rest of the "apartment" out of whatever I could find and let them go back and forth to work.
But frankly, I was happiest with a book. Go figure.
Favorite toy was the Star Wars set I had as a kid. I completely destroyed it, but it was neat to play with. Had great fun crushing the rebel fighters in the trash compactor.
Thanks for stopping by! Answer any question you like, however you like. Hopefully we'll learn a little bit about ourselves and a lot about each other. Happy answering!

My mom always said a pack of construction paper, a pair of scissors and some crayons were all the babysitter she ever needed.

HUGE reader here, too.
I loved horses as a kid-couldn't have one, so I must have owned 1,000 books about horses.
