Phobias

Do you have any strange phobias?

My one strong phobia is of bugs. I hate them with a passion - probably why I never went on to more advanced work with the biology degree. As for strange phobias...apparently I fear small fluffy brown cat toys thrown at my feet when I'm not wearing my glasses and I'm not fully awake. I've been told I scream like a little girl when that happens.

I fear the huge silverfish type bugs that we occasionally find around the ceiling vents in our apartment. Otherwise I don't have any strong phobias that I'm aware of, and I really just don't like those bugs because I am the designated bug killer in the household, and they make a mess.

I do, however, have a sincere hatred of all bitch mosquitoes. The males don't bite, you see.

I am completely terrified of bees, hornets, wasps, etc. During the summer, you will find me circling the house with my can of Raid looking for wasp nests. Spiders run a close second.

This isn't terribly strange, but I have an irrational fear of flying-not bad enough to keep me off an airplane, but bad enough that I sob in terror during every single take-off.

Those huge cockroaches petrify me.
I swear I'll scream like like a little girl when one comes by.
I also get VERY nervous around baloons.

I can't so much as drink a damn glass of water around a piece of antique furniture.

CLOWNS!! I hate clowns! I have literally made my husband turn the car around because there was a clown wandering aimlessly down a country road. Evil, EVIL muthas!
