This is such a hard one for me--I love flowers and plants so much! I'm going to say roses--particularly the Mardi Gras floribunda. They're just gorgeous.
Phalaenopsis is the one that everybody gets for about $20 at home depot (usually half-dead) and dendrobium is also widely available. Here are pics of typical ones: http://www.orchidcare.com/PhalwithInsert.jpg
Thank you. That's much better. That first volley fired way high. I like daylilies, but I can't be more specific than that. I also like a flower we have around here called Four O'Clocks, but mainly because their manner of replenishing themselves crosses me as design genius.
My mom has a very good relationship with daylilies. She makes them happy, and then every couple of years she goes out, digs them up, cuts them into several pieces with a shovel, replants them, and they go on their merry way again.
She has some really nice ones :D
Pardon the latin-it comes with orchid territory. I sometimes forget....
I'm a lover of daylillies too, and irises. I have a huge yard, and it's full of different plants and flowers. As a matter of fact, I just spent $500 at the nursery today buying trees and shrubs. If I had unlimited funds, my back yard would look like the Garden of Eden.
Thanks for stopping by! Answer any question you like, however you like. Hopefully we'll learn a little bit about ourselves and a lot about each other. Happy answering!

I have a serious problem. Orchidophilia.
I have so many of them that when it comes time for the weekly watering they now fill the tub. Twice.
I LOVEEEEE Orchids, especially the rare ones. But I do not discriminate against a lovely phalaeonopsis or dendrobium :D

It's okay. Really I was just thinking about your boobs and not paying close attention. My bad.
