Reaching into the get back files for this one, but I really like Bob Newhart. His record 'Button Down Mind of Bob Newhart' was released in the early 60s I think, but it's still very funny when most comedy bits that old just elicit a yawn. By comparison, George Carlin's records from the 70s seem a bit stale. To me anyway.
I'm also a big Bob Newhart fan. We have "BDMoBN" on a CD/cassette/something that Brian's grandmother gave us, and it's the funniest thing! I love the driving instructor bit! He's got a new memoir out, and I have it on audible with him narrating it. It's good, but sometimes the stammering gets to me.
I loved both The Bob Newhart Show and Newhart. The finale of Newhart still cracks me up every time I see it. Very few people would have the genius to think up that ending.
Thanks for stopping by! Answer any question you like, however you like. Hopefully we'll learn a little bit about ourselves and a lot about each other. Happy answering!

Eddie Izzard, hands down. Although Henry Cho runs a pretty close second--Jonly Bonly cracks me up!

Larry Miller's Five Stages of Drinking monologue has me in stitches every time.
Two age-old Mexican cure-alls:
1) Drink a 7-Up. (add lemon if it doesn't cure it)
2) Vicks Vapor Rub.
You'll live forever with those remedies.
